Alexandre Templier
Vice President, SILICA Alliance

Dr. Alexandre Templier is Vice President of SILICA, the French alliance dedicated to advancing artificial health data research and applications. With more than 25 years of experience as an executive and consultant in quantitative methods for Life Sciences, he has devoted his career to applying advanced science and engineering to improve decision-making in healthcare and clinical research.

He holds a PhD in biomechanics from ENSAM ParisTech and an MBA from IAE Paris Sorbonne. Alongside his professional activities, he contributed to academia as an associate professor at ENSAM ParisTech (2001–2013) and now lectures on the application of AI in healthcare at ESSEC and the Faculty of Pharmacy, Paris-Saclay University.

He is also a co-founder of Quinten, a pioneering company in the use of AI and real-world data for healthcare, and a member of the French National Academy of Surgery.
